Websites & automation for local business
I build and run websites for small local businesses โ the kind where you can text me on a Tuesday about a price change and it's live before you close. No agency queue, no ticket system, no $5,000 rebuild every time you want a new photo.
Services
Start with a website. Add the automation once you see where your time is actually going.
A custom site built around how your business actually works โ not a template with your logo dropped in.
I keep it online, fast, backed up and secure. You never touch a control panel or renew a certificate.
The whole point. Call, text, or email a change and it gets done โ usually same day, no change-order paperwork.
The repetitive stuff you do by hand every week, done for you in the background.
Used where it genuinely saves hours โ not bolted on as a gimmick.
A site nobody finds is a brochure in a drawer.
Example
A demo site for an independent guitar shop โ searchable inventory you can filter by type, condition and price; a lessons page; a repair price list; hours and directions.
It's a real, working page, not a picture of one. Click into the inventory and search it. Everything on it โ every price, every section, the colors, the wording โ is the kind of thing you'd tell me to change, and I'd change.
Searchable inventory ยท lessons ยท setups & repair ยท hours & directions
Same build, different business: a restaurant menu, a contractor's project gallery, a salon's booking page, a shop's parts catalog. The pieces change, the approach doesn't.
Process
No discovery phase, no 40-page proposal. We talk, I build, you tell me what's wrong, I fix it.
Twenty minutes about what you sell, who walks in, and what you're tired of doing by hand. Free, no obligation.
Within about a week you get a real working site to click through โ not a mockup, not a slide deck.
Tell me everything you'd change. Wording, colors, prices, whole sections. Revisions are expected, not billed.
Domain, hosting, SSL, Google โ I handle the plumbing. Then you just call me whenever something needs to change.
Pricing
One build fee, then a small monthly for hosting and unlimited small changes. No contracts, no per-edit billing, no surprise invoices.
Automation and AI work is quoted separately once we know what we're automating โ usually it pays for itself in the first month of saved time.
Questions
Usually for one of three reasons: it's slow on a phone, nobody can find it on Google, or you can't get anyone to change it. If none of those are true, keep it โ I'll tell you that for free.
You own it. The domain is in your name, and if you ever leave, you take the site files with you. I don't hold anything hostage.
Then I'll build it so you can, and sit with you until you're comfortable. Most owners would rather just call โ but it's your call, not mine.
Small changes โ a price, a photo, holiday hours โ same day, usually within a couple hours. New sections or features, a few days. You'll always get a straight answer on timing before I start.
Specific, boring, useful things: a chat box that answers your ten most-asked questions at 9pm so you don't, drafts of descriptions for new inventory, summaries of the week's inquiries. Not a robot pretending to be you.
Because you get me. Same person on the phone, on the build, and on the fix. I work with a small number of local businesses on purpose.
Twenty minutes, no pitch deck, no obligation. Tell me what you sell and what's eating your week, and I'll tell you honestly whether a website or some automation would actually help.
